Centres : Activities

a) Arrupe Legal, Education, Research and Training Centre (ALERT)

• The centre offers several legal services to the local community (legal advocacy, legal aid, right-based approach to development, legal education, legal support to people’s movements)

b) Dalit Centre – Patra

• The centre’s activity aims to empower the dalit community by village community building and organization, SHGs, grihini education of girls.

c) Dalit Vikas Kendra – Tarwa

• The centre’s activity aims to empower the dalit community. The centre organizes also SHGs and leadership training for villagers.

d) Prerana Resource Centre/Dalit Centre

• The provide support to local dalit communities, and to those affected by development induced displacement. Activities include: training programmes, legal guidance, SHGs, non-formal and formal education.

e) Sahodaya Samaj Vikas Kendra
